HAROLD BURTON was born in Windsor, Ontario. After leaving school, he chose the field of commercial art, longing for one day to work full time as a fine arts artist. He has for the past 45 years lived and painted in the Wheatley area. Harold is self-taught and has for 35 years shared his talent by teaching many classes in watercolour and oil. Although accomplished in many mediums, Harold chooses to work in watercolour and enjoys painting a wide variety of subjects. To date he has published some 40 limited edition prints many of which are sold out. He is now concentrating mostly on producing original paintings. Many of his original works are in private collections in Canada, United States and Europe.
